Laundryman drinks muriatic acid, dies Cebu Daily News Posted date: July 01, 2009 A 42-YEAR-OLD man died after he allegedly drank muriatic acid in barangay Lawaan Uno, Talisay City on Monday afternoon. Police said the victim Fablosa Alfab had been suffering from a nervous breakdown. Alfab and his wife accept laundry jobs from neighbors as their means of living. The couple was doing laundry in one of the residents in Camella Homes on Monday when Alfab allegedly drank muriatic acid. The victim complained of dizziness and collapsed. He was brought to the Talisay District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. No external injuries were found in the body of the victim but police recommended an autopsy to be conducted. /Correspondent Chito O. Aragon
