CEBU CITY, Philippines - Two men on board a motorcycle robbed an 18-year-old youth on Sunday morning in Barangay (village) Inayawan, Cebu City.The robbers, one of whom was armed with a knife, took the teenager's cellphone and threatened to kill him if he would report the incident to the police. The victim’s mother reported the incident to the police. But fearing for his life, the victim refused to file a complaint at the police station. The mother told the police that she sent her son on an errand in St. Jude Acres in Barangay Inayawan. She said two men on a motorcycle arrived and approached her son. The backrider disembarked, pulled out a knife and grabbed the victim by the shirt. He then threatened the victim with a knife and demanded for his cell phone. The mother told the police that the driver of the motorcycle wore a helmet. |
