Hollywood, California - This one's bound to be for the books.

The running total for superstar Manny Pacquiao's expenses for freeloaders who have asked him for tickets for his December 6 showdown with Oscar De la Hoya has now reached $640,000 or a staggering P32 million.

The figure was taken as of last Thursday, and it seems that can breach the $700,000 mark by fight night.

Pacquiao was visibly upset over the figure, which he and chief of staff Joe Ramos kept reviewing in the presence of this writer inside Pacquiao's unit at the Palazzo, the upscale residence of Hollywood actors, actresses and celebrities.

“Grabe naman. Di na sila naawa kay Manny,” a Pacquiao associate told this writer while the boxer and Ramos were tipping off the names of the beneficiaries.

One of the so-called freeloaders is a top official of the office of the Ombudsman, several politicians and families of actors and actresses.

Another close ally of Pacquiao also divulged that all these freeloaders can very well afford to buy their tickets, but opted to burden Pacquiao with their requests.

“In fact, some of these people even have the gall to ask for plane tickets and hotel accommodations, depending on their perceived closeness to the boxing champ,” another source stated.

While running through the figures with Ramos, Pacquiao was visibly pained.

“Ayoko ko na. Di ko na kaya (I give up. I can't do it anymore),” Pacquiao told Ramos, when informed that another friend had just requested for additional tickets.
