The Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) won the grand finals of the Metro Student Quiz – high school level held on November 8 at the Metro Colon Activity Center.
The DBTC team bested the other contenders from the University of San Carlos – South Campus and University of the Visayas – Main Campus.
The members of the winning team included Gabriel Erickson Ruiz, Marvin Jay Cabajar, Ervin Jose and coach Mirasol Ng.
They received a plaque and medals sponsored by the International Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IPI), cash prizes, certificates, a scholarship grant from Informatics and gift packs from Monde Nissin.The elimination rounds for the Metro Ayala’s student quiz – high school level will be held on November 22, 29 and December 6 with the grand finals on December 13 at the Metro Ayala Activity Center. The Metro Student Quiz is in partnership with the Department of Education in Central Visayas, Informatics, Enervon-C Plus, Nutroplex, Zee-Pluz, Blue Camp, Paper Club, Mario D' Boro, Land Bank of the Philippines, Johnson and Johnson's, Philippine National Bank, Zest-O, Sumo, Vioce, Hong's Best, Kraft, Dunkin Donuts, Nature's Spring, IPI, Prints and More, Pizza Hut, Go Large and New Continental Printers. |
