General manager Armando Paredes of the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) was one of the resource speakers in the Leadership Forum on Water Supply and Sanitation held from October 27 to 28 at the Villa Santi Resort and Spa, Luang Prabang, Lao PDR.He was invited by the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (PDR) Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Southeast Asian Utilities Network and Asian Development Bank. Paredes shared MCWD’s financial sustainability and its strategies to the participants from the different countries in South East Asia. Most of the participants were representatives of different water utilities, foreign consultants and experts. The activity was part of the program of Southeast Asian Water Utilities Network of which MCWD is a member. |
