US embassy closed on Monday INQUIRER.net Posted date: May 23, 2008 MANILA, Philippines -- The US embassy in Manila will be closed on Monday, May 26 for the observance of Memorial Day, the embassy’s public affairs department said on Friday. All transactions with the embassy will resume on Tuesday, May 27, the embassy’s statement said.
