Makati City to hold job fair for residents, nonresidents Allison Lopez Philippine Daily Inquirer

MAKATI CITY, Philippines—A mega job fair featuring the various industries in Makati will be conducted by the city government on Tuesday to provide more employment opportunities for residents.
More than 60 companies and employment agencies will participate in the job fair with the theme, “Habang May Hanapbuhay: May Pag-ahon, May Bukas Pa,” to be held at the city hall quadrangle between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Mayor Jejomar Binay said the mega job fair was one way of showing the city government’s continuing commitment to provide work opportunities for job seekers, including out of school youth, students, people aged between 40 and 45 and even nonresidents.
Among the companies and establishments that will take part in the event are ABS-CBN/Star Cinema, Goldilocks Bakeshop, Banco de Oro, United Royale, Timezone, Guess, Celine Marketing, Marks and Spencer, Puregold, Chef d’ Angelo, DM Consunji Inc., Brady Philippines as well as those from the retail, services, outsourcing industries and local employment agencies.
Applicants are advised to bring their resume or bio data and to attach a recent picture.
