Special Appearance By Arnel Pineda, lead singer of Journey; Fans Receive Limited Edition T-Shirt
OAKLAND, Calif. – The Golden State Warriors are holding Filipino Heritage Night on Friday, November 6 against the Los Angeles Clippers at ORACLE Arena (7:30 p.m.), the team announced today. This will be the Warriors’ third Filipino Heritage Night after the team hosted two highly-popular events last season.
The festivities include a special post-game appearance and Q&A with Arnel Pineda, lead singer of the rock band Journey, as well as Filipino cultural performances throughout the night, including pre-game folk dance showcase by Kawayan Folk Arts. Fans can purchase a special Filipino Heritage Night ticket for as little as $28, which includes a seat in the Filipino Heritage Night section and a limited edition Filipino Heritage Night t-shirt. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit selected Filipino-related charities and non-profit organizations.
