LTO Iligan exec, brother shot dead Richel Umel Inquirer Mindanao

ILIGAN CITY, Philippines—The assistant chief of the Land Transportation Office here and his brother were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the village of Tubod Thursday morning, a police official said.
Senior Superintendent Bernardo Reamon, city police director, said Ali Datumanong, 50, and his younger brother, Akra who was driving, were on their way to the LTO office at around 8:15 a.m. when fired upon by two men, who were riding in tandem on a motorcycle. The gunmen then fled the scene.
Police were still conducting an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack and apprehend the killers.
