MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATE) The Light Railway Transit trains on both sides of the track (Baclaran to Monumento-Monumento to Baclaran) are now operational although moving slowly, a representative from the LRT management told INQUIRER.net Wednesday.
The switch that moves the trains is being operated manually at the moment as repairs continue, said Kristina Cassion, officer-in-charge for public relations.
The LRT stalled early Wednesday due to technical problems on one of the trains at the Monumento station, stranding hundreds of work-bound passengers.
