Filipino Community to Honor Cory Aquino at Memorial Mass at St. Patrick’s Church

The Bay Area Filipino community and the Philippine Consulate of San Francisco join the Filipino nation and the international community in mourning the passing of former President Corazon C. Aquino.
The public is invited to a Concelebrated Memorial Mass in honor of Corazon "Cory" Aquino. The mass will be celebrated by William Justice, Auxiliary Bishop of San Francisco, and concelebrated by ten (10) local Filipino priests led by Rev. Fr. Alex Pablo, assistant pastor of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Everyone is encouraged wear something yellow in honor of the late president's signature color and to bring a yellow flower to offer at the mass.
A community PISTAHAN parade to honor Cory Aquino will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 10 am to 12 noon starting at Market and Beale Streets and ending at the Yerba Buena Gardens.
