1 hurt as tornado destroys houses in Cavite Maricar Cinco Inquirer Southern Luzon

LAGUNA – One person was hurt when a tornado in the wake of typhoon “Santi” (international name: Mirinae) swirled through at least 25 homes in Ternate, Cavite, early morning, a disaster official said.
According to Vicente Tomazar, Calabarzon Regional Disaster Coordinating Council director, initial reports said the tornado "totally damaged" 25 houses in Barangay (village) of San Jose.
He said an unidentified resident was injured after being buried underneath his collapsed dwelling.
The RDCC was still confirming the exact time the tornado happened.
