Comcast to launch TFC throughout Houston

REDWOOD CITY, CA, April 23, 2009 – ABS-CBN International, the North America-based subsidiary of ABS-CBN Broadcasting, today announced that Comcast, the nation’s leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, will launch The Filipino Channel (TFC) via Comcast Digital Cable throughout the Houston Metro Area on April 27.

The debut of TFC, the number one premium Filipino channel in the U.S., promises Comcast subscribers robust, top-rated Filipino news and entertainment content for subscribers in Houston, home of the largest Filipino population in Texas.

TFC will be available via subscription on channel 725 for $11.95 a month a la carte. In addition, Filipino on Demand is available on Comcast’s signature ON DEMAND service for $7.99 per month throughout the Houston Metro Area.
