What matters most in relief work Philippine Daily Inquirer
October 17, 2009
IT IS NOT important that non-victims of the typhoons are lining up to receive relief goods. The country’s poor, whether flood victims or not, deserve to receive relief goods.
It is likewise not important whether the relief goods contain pictures or names of politicians. What matters is their preponderant motive to help and the victims’ sufferings being alleviated by such help. Thank God.
