What now for Arroyo?

October 17, 2009

THERE is only on person who should be blamed for the flooding and it is no other than Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo who could have spent the billions of pesos she splurged on her foreign travels in fixing the drainage system and setting up flood control systems in Metro Manila.

Also, what happened to the millions (or is it billions?) of pesos allotted, through the Department of Public Works and Highways, for such measures? The Philippines is in the typhoon belt and the Arroyo regime has already recognized the problems that caused flooding in Metro Manila. There is no excuse for this calamity.

Gloria Arroyo and her public works secretary must do the honorable thing. Resign!
