With Easter Weekender 2009, Bigfish, in cooperation with Nokia Music, Lee, and Fit ‘n Right, got Boracay’s lounging sun worshippers out of the comfort of their hotel rooms to experience the big-room party vibe right at the beach.
Bigfish started strong with the Slinky Forever World Tour featuring Armada Records on April 11 at Hey Jude! Armada Music sent one of their top talents, Blake Jarrell, to the Boracay bash. Our very own turntable pros Erwin Edralin and Anton Ramos shared the spotlight with Armada’s pick.
The smooth Sunset Session on April 12 at Pearl of the Pacific then cooled things down. Bigfish and Kerastase swept up the vacationers in a homage to the picturesque Boracay dusk.
Bigfish once again turned up the energy level with Hed Kandi Beach House on April 17 at Hey Jude! Hed Kandi’s elder statesman Andy Norman and colleague Jamie Richards headlined the event, spinning their sultry sweet mixes for the elated Boracay elite to enjoy.
With Easter Weekender 2009, Bigfish scored big in bringing the Manila party experience to the sandy shores of Boracay. Beautiful partyphiles from Manila and elsewhere in the country came in droves to the triple party treat, their tanned skin glistening in the summer nighttime heat.

As Bigfish’s 10th anniversary in June nears, they prepare for their biggest party of the year. On June 26, Friday, at A-Venue in Makati, Bigfish celebrates 10 years of turning the Manila party scene upside down in the Innovation White Party with Ministry of Sound. Paul Van Dyke own Vandit records DJ Jon O’Bir and US No1 Trance Master Christopher Lawrence, are set to be the Pied Pipers of the night, entrancing the crowd into a mad frenzy.
