RAFI celebrates 40 years with medical mission, fair Cebu Daily News

The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) will celebrate its 40th anniversary on November 16 with a trade fair and a medical mission at the RAFI Eduardo Aboitiz Development Studies Center in Lopez Jaena St., Cebu City.
The celebration will kick off with a thanksgiving Mass by Rev. Fr. Fidel Orendain, SDB at 7:30 a.m..
The trade fair and the medical mission will be conducted from November 16 to November 18.
The trade fair will feature different delicacies from the different towns of Cebu ranging from sandal to ice cream, dried fish, empanada, slippers, coin purse, bags, placemat, wall décor, curtain seat cover, native chicken inasal, ampao, banana chips, soli-soli items, cassava cookies, crocheted items and cheese stick, nito items, flowers, among others.
The medical mission, on the other hand, will render services such as bone density checkup (osteoporosis) on November 16; digital rectal exam, pap smear/clinical breast exam on November 17; general consultation on pediatrics, ob-gyne, family medicine, pulmonary, cyst/lump checkup, immunization on DPT, BCG, polio, hepatitis, measles and anti-tetanus, laboratory services such as CBC, cholesterol, sugar, triglyceride, urinalysis and blood typing and dental extraction on November 17-18.
RAFI will culminate the celebration on November 18 at 4:30 p.m. with the giving of recognition to trade fair exhibitors and medical mission partners and the awarding of winners for best booth contest.
