The Toledo City Fire Department is looking into allegations that Sunday's fire, which destroyed a school building in Barangay Don Andres Soriano, Toledo City, was intentionally started.
Inspector Randy Mendaros, Toledo City Fire Marshall, ordered fire investigators to look into the allegations of arson, and if these were true, to gather evidence against those responsible.
The fire last Sunday afternoon razed a school building made up of five classrooms for grade 6 pupils of P. Del Rosario Elementary School.
Mendaros said some children saw four men running away from building as it started to burn. /Correspondent Rene F. Alima
