Vidoeira first female champion of Taal Regatta Inquirer

MANILA, Philippines -- Maria Vidoeira of Portugal and Bing Tendero of the Philippines shared top honors in the recent fourth Buena Vista Round Taal Volcano Regatta held at the Taal Lake Yacht Club (TLYC) in Talisay, Batangas.
Vidoeira, who also topped the Hobie 16 Masters Class, is the first lady sailor to win the regatta.
Other top winners were Mario Malazarte (streaker class), Edmund Umali (open dinghy), Ed Gallego (Hobie Class B), Charlie Clement (Hobie Class A) and Roy Espiritu (home-built).
